My Baby!!

Well I can't post what I have been doing today as the cards are for a swap and I don't want to spoil it! I love swaps because of the excitement. I wait by my mailbox and stalk my postman until they get back to me. LOL!

So instead I did some digital scrapbooking so I can share. I really love digi-scrapping cause there is a quick clean-up!!

This is my baby monkey, Analisa. A couple of weeks ago we took her to get her hair braided again. I just love her to pieces. She cries while she's there but as soon as they are done, she jumps up and turns into a DIVA. She struts around, flipping her hair and just soaking up the compliments. Unfortunately she knows she is cute. No matter how aggravated I get, her smile just melts my heart!!! Gotta love her!

I used a kit from Bannerwoman available at http://www.digitalfreebies.com.

I AM GOING THROUGH WITHDRAWAL!!

Let me share my frustration. Yesterday, I get home from work only to find out I had no internet. I have DSL with AT&T. I have never had an issue before. Now I would expect that if the DSL was not working, the phone should be out too since they run through the same line. I didn't know what to do with myself all night. I could have been creating, but I just wasn't up to it. Oh well, enough ranting...I'll be back!

OK...One last one!!!

I did another one of Rita's challenges at Paper Wings.

Its called Smoosh and Rub B
ackgrounds.
I really enjoyed this one and it's not messy at all.

I used the Oopsie Daisey stamp set, Palette Violete and Beaux Arts Blue inks. I also used the big eyelets from the Toodle Loo hardware.

I really worked this weekend. I will try to post this week if I have time. I have been watching a Law & Order marathon as I have been working today. All I needed was an Iced Caramel Macchiato to make the day fantabulous!! LOL!

Well on a scale from 1-10, I would say today was a 9.9!! I hope you all enjoyed my shares and the music....I hope you come back soon!!!

New Challenge Card

Ok...here is a new challenge card. It was Sarah's Card Challenge over at Paper Wings. The challenge was paper piecing.

I used the Hello There stamp set, Frutti Fusion and DCWV Blue 1 papers, and Impress Markers with a blender brush.

I think this card is fun! I really love this set soooo much!! She is sooo cute!!

Paper Wings is for Angels only but I am sure Sarah would love to see your cards. Visit her
blog and post a link to your card. (I hope she doesn't get mad at me :))

MUSIC!!!

I added my favorite songs to my blog. Each one means something different to me. I am happy to share them with you. I will add more as time goes on!

I've been playing!

I made two cards today.

One is a double challenge card. I killed two birds with one stone. This was for Jennifer's color challenge #2 at
http://paperwings.myfreeforum.org/index.php and a sketch challenge for the Create-a-Card club (a yahoo group I belong to).

I used the Light the Path set, kraft and black cardstock, and DCWV Red1 and Robin's Egg 2, Palette Burnt Umber ink, and Prisma Colored Pencils.

I think I really like this card.

The next card was for Rita's Totally TAC-niques Challenge #1 at http://paperwings.myfreeforum.org/index.php.

The TAC-nique is called Crinkled Paper Stamping by Rita Holmes.

I used the Fanciful Flowers and Nurture Your Soul sets, Palette Orangerie, Chartreuse, and Claret inks, and Mia's Cottage Paper and Cardstock.

This one was so much fun!!!

New Catalog

I attended my very first TAC seminar at the end of June and all I can say is WOW! My mom joined me and we had so much fun swapping, chatting, and just having fun! We even got the catalog before everyone else. How cool is that? Mischelle even signed my catalog!!

I am in LOVE with the new catalog. It is just specTACular!!! All of the ideas and sample in this catalog are just fantabulous!

TAC is now going to have 2 catalogs per year. That means twice as many GWPs and hostess sets, twice as many ideas, and twice as much fun.

We will still have the Stamp of the Month and I will be starting monthly card kit which will include paper, stamp set, ribbon and idea sheets for using the set. (more information to come)

Check back often as I will be having occasional specials that are only announced on my blog.

I DID IT!

OK, so I decided to jump on the blogging bandwagon. I am going to use this as a way to share my love of stamping and scrapbooking with you. I hope you pull up a chair, grab a cuppa something, and make yourself at home!
